<br /> RESOLUTION 1990- 3aR 133 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br /> CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br /> AND THE STATE OF TEXAS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, <br /> OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A CONTINUOUS <br /> HIGHWAY ILLUMINATION SYSTEM ON IH 35 WITHIN <br /> THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br /> AGREEMENT, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos desires to enter into an <br /> agreement with the State of Texas for the construction, <br /> operation and maintenance of a continuous highway <br /> illumination system on IH 35 within the corporate limits of <br /> the City of San Marcos; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART I. That the terms and conditions of an agreement <br /> between the State of Texas and the City of San Marcos for the <br /> construction, operation and maintenance of a continuous <br /> high\olay illumination system, a copy of which is hereby <br /> attached hereto and made a part hereof for all intents and <br /> purposes, are hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley be, and <br /> he is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of <br /> the City. <br /> PART 3.
