<br /> 105 <br /> Regular Iv1eeting December 12, 1983 Page 9 <br /> Iv1ayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to award bid on <br /> one half-ton full size pickup truck for the Parks and Recreation De- <br /> partment. Ms. Kissler moved to approve the bid of Ellis Motor Company <br /> in the amount of $7,433.45 and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which <br /> passed unanimously, (Moore not present). <br /> Iv1ayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to award bid <br /> on two half-ton light duty pickup trucks for the Parks and Recreation <br /> Department. Mayor Craddock moved to award bid to Ellis Iv1otor Company <br /> in the amount of $6,734.45 for each truck, totaling $13,468.90, and <br /> Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Iv1oore not present) <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to award bid on <br /> the Euthanasia Chamber for the Animal Shelter. Iv1r. Brown moved to <br /> award bid to Animal Awareness in the amount of $5,761.00 and Iv1s. Kissler <br /> seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to authorize bid- <br /> ding of a dumptruck for Water Distribution and Maintenance. Iv1s. Kissler <br /> moved to authorize bidding and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion, which <br /> passed unanimously. <br /> Iv1ayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to authorize bid- <br /> ding of a pickup truck for Wastewater Disposal. Ms. Kissler moved to <br /> authorize bidding and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed <br /> unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to authorize bid- <br /> ding of a pickup truck for the City Electrician. Mr. Brown moved to <br /> authorize bidding and Iv1s. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed <br /> unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to authorize bid- <br /> ding of a pickup truck for the Vehicle Maintenance Department. Ms. <br /> Kissler moved to authorize bidding and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, <br /> which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to authorize re- <br /> bidding of a 4-wheel drive utility vehicle for the Engineering Depart- <br /> ment. Mr. Iv1oore moved to reject the bids that were previously received <br /> and to authorize rebidding and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which <br /> passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval for payment of the <br /> cost overrun of the Softball Complex. Iv1ayor Craddock then moved the <br /> matter be tabled and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unani- <br /> mously (See Iv1inutes of December 19, 1983). <br /> A presentation was then made of preliminary plans for the San Marcos <br /> Main Street Project. Jeff Kester stated monies need to be designated <br /> for the San Marcos program and for the City Manager to be authorized <br /> to employ a Project Iv1anager. The City Secretary was directed to place <br /> these items on the December 19, 1983 meeting. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 10:50 p.m. on motion made by Ms. Kissler and <br /> seconded by Mr. Brown. ~~ <br /> ( / <br /> Emmie Craddock <br /> Mayor <br />
