<br /> Agreement who shall be requested by City to work with other persons <br /> likewise appointed. City agrees that no person so appointed by <br /> City shall be a member of City's governing body. County agrees to <br /> appoint three persons to the EMS Board of Directors at such times <br /> as shall be required in accordance with this Agreement who shall be <br /> requested by County to work with other persons likewise appointed. <br /> County agrees that no person appointed by County shall be a member <br /> of County's governing body. <br /> IV. <br /> County agrees to provide EMS an office and headquarters <br /> facility for operation in a suitable location for good response to <br /> all areas served. <br /> v. <br /> City shall allow one ambulance owned by EMS to be located at a <br /> City fire station to be designated by City. City shall provide <br /> environmentally controlled quarters for the stationed ambulance. <br /> The City shall not use the stationed ambulance as a utility vehicle <br /> at any time. The fire department stationed ambulance will make no <br /> routine transfers. City shall provide first response by the <br /> nearest fire apparatus to all in-City life-threatening medical <br /> emergencies. <br /> City shall maintain a sufficient number of its fire department <br /> members as trained emergency medical technicians to insure that an <br /> on-duty fire department employee with EMT training is available at <br /> all times to act as a member of the backup crew for the provision <br /> of emergency medical services. <br /> -3- <br />
