Staff presentation, discussion and direction to Staff on the implementation of the <br />Downtown Master Plan. <br />Matthew Lewis, Director of Development Services, and Abigail Gillfillan, Permit Center <br />Manager, presented the presentation regarding the implementation of the Downtown Master <br />Plan. Following discussion the Council reached consensus that they would like to see the <br />following on a future agenda for further discussion: Two way roads downtown and the possible <br />acquisition of current TXDOT roadways (LBJ, Hopkins, old RR 12, <br />Guadalupe). <br />4. Staff presentation, discussion, and direction to Staff regarding the creation of a <br />Downtown Parking Management District. <br />John Foreman, Planning Manager, provided the presentation regarding the creation of a <br />Downtown Parking Management District. Following discussion the Council directed Staff to <br />place the following on a future agenda for further discussion: Creation of a parking district and <br />the creation of a Parking Manager position. <br />5. Staff presentation, discussion and direction to Staff on the future of the Land <br />Development Code. <br />Matthew Lewis, Director of Development Services, provided the presentation regarding the <br />future of the Land Development Code. Following discussion the Council directed Staff to place <br />the appointment of a Technical Development Committee on a future agenda and to bring back at <br />the appropriate time the RFP /Q(s) contract for Council review and Quarterly updates on LDC <br />revisions. <br />6. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. This is an opportunity for the Press <br />and Public to ask questions related to iteins on this agenda. <br />None. <br />7. Adiournment. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Scott and a second by Council Member <br />Prather, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adjourn the City <br />Council /Planning and Zoning Commission workshop at 7:51 p.m. The motion carried. <br />a* Guerrero, Mayor <br />
