Corporation, Inc. for Uniform Rental and Laundering in the total estimated annual <br />amount of $93,789.68; authorizing the Purchasing Manager to execute the appropriate <br />contract documents on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. <br />16.Consider approval of Resolution 2013 -107R, approving the purchase of Weather Based <br />Irrigation Controls from Diamondback Landscaping for the Community Services <br />Department - Facility Management Division in the amount of $169,729.00; authorizing <br />the Purchasing Manager to execute the appropriate Purchasing documents on behalf of <br />the City and declaring an effective date. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Scott and a second by Council Member <br />Prather, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve the consent <br />agenda, with the exception of item 15 which was considered separately. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />(15) MOTION: Upon a motion. made by Council Member Scott and a second by Council <br />Member Prather, MOTION TO AMEND: Upon a motion made by Council Member Scott and a <br />second by Council Member Prather the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, <br />to amend Resolution 2013 -106R by awarding for an estimated annual amount of $91,356.68. The <br />motion carried unanimously. MAIN MOTION: the City Council voted seven (7) for and none <br />(0) opposed, to approve Resolution 2013 -106R, as previously captioned. The motion carried. <br />Public Hearing <br />17.7:OOPMReceive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for <br />or against Ordinance 201.3 -35 amending Chapters 1 through 8 of the San Marcos Land <br />Development Code to implement the changes made through Ordinance 2013 -16 which <br />adopted the "Vision San Marcos: A River Runs Through Us" Comprehensive Plan; <br />providing a savings clause; providing for the repeal of any conflicting provisions; and <br />providing an effective date; and consider approval of Ordinance 201.3 -35 on the first of <br />two readings. <br />Matthew Lewis, Director of Development Services, provided a brief presentation. <br />Mayor Daniel Guerrero opened the public hearing at 7:37 p.m. <br />There being no comments; the public hearing was closed at 7:37 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Thomaides and a second by Council <br />Member Porterfield, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve <br />Ordinance 2013 -35, on the first of two readings, as previously captioned.
