<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP
<br /> OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY FROM PERMANENT OPEN
<br /> SPACE/FLOODPLAIN TO INDUSTRIAL FOR APPROXIMATELY 11
<br /> ACRES PROPOSED TO BE KNOWN AS A PORTION OF LOT 1,
<br /> SECTION 3, SAN MARCOS BUSINESS PARK, SAN MARCOS, HAYS
<br /> COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED AT THE NORTH CORNER OF THE
<br /> INTERSECTION OF WONDER WORLD DRIVE AND THE MKT RAILROAD
<br /> RIGHT OF WAY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on March 20, 1990, the Joint Planning and Zoning
<br /> Commissions held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the
<br /> Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan from Permanent Open
<br /> Space/Floodplain to Industrial for approximately II acres
<br /> proposed to be known as a portion of Lot 1, Section 3, San Marcos
<br /> Business Park, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, located at the North
<br /> corner of the intersection of Wonder World Drive and the MKT Railroad
<br /> Right-of-Way; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the
<br /> Commissions did, on March 20, 1990, consider the request and
<br /> voted to approve it and have recommended that the request be
<br /> approved by the City Council of the City; and,
<br /> WHE REAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 29th day
<br /> of MÇlY , 1990, regarding such request; and,
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Mas te r Plan pertaining to
<br /> amendments have been met; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public
<br /> health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That the tract of real property approximately
<br /> 11 acres in size proposed to be known as a portion of Lot 1, Section
<br /> 3, San Marcos Business Park, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas,
<br /> more particularly described in Exhibit "A" which is attached
<br /> hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, located at the north
<br /> corner of the intersection of Wonder World Drive and the
<br /> MKT Railroad Right-of-Way, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which
<br /> is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of
<br /> the City of San Marcos as Permanent Open Space/Floodplain shall
<br /> be shown on that map as Industrial as shown on Exhibit "A"
<br /> which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all
<br /> purposes.
<br /> PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
<br /> from and after its passage.
