Aaount of iapact fee for new construction. <br /> The water impact fee (IF) for any building, lot or premises <br /> shall be $363.00 per service unit (SU). <br /> See. 30-64.1. blpact fee for low incO8e persons and faJRilies. <br /> An impact fee equal to one (1) per cent of the value of <br /> improvements to be constructed as per the building and <br /> plumbing permit applications shall be paid for new <br /> improvements on any single-family dwelling unit located in <br /> the City of San Marcos and owned by a person, persons, or <br /> family who qualify for financial assistance under the rules, <br /> regulations or guidelines promulgated by Community Action, <br /> Inc. of Hays, Caldwell and Blanco Counties. Such persons <br /> shall present to the director of public works a certificate <br /> verifying such qualification, which shall be obtained from <br /> Community Action, Inc. of Hays, Caldwell and Blanco Counties <br /> prior to their application for such permit or permits. <br /> Sec. 30-65. Computation of service units for various <br /> parmi tted uses. <br /> (a) The following schedule shall be used in determining the <br /> service units (SU's) for the uses specified: <br /> Type of Use SU per Unit of Development <br /> ( 1) Residential: <br /> a. Single-family (includes <br /> duplexes) 1.0/dwel1ing unit <br /> b. Multifamily 0.66/dwelling unit <br /> (2) Hotel/motels 0.25/room <br /> ( 3) Hotel/motels with rest- 0.25/room plus <br /> aurant and/or bar O.OOl/sq.ft. of bldg. <br /> in restaurant and/or <br /> bar <br /> ( 4) Hospitals 0.57/bed <br /> (5) Restaurant/bar O.OOl/sq.ft. of bldg. <br /> (6) Group living quarters 0.28/bed <br /> (nursing homes, rest homes, <br /> fraternity or sorority <br /> houses, or similar uses) <br /> (7) Office/warehouse 0.0002/sq.ft. of bldg. <br /> (8) Industrial 0.00O2/sq.ft. of bldg. <br /> (9) Laundromats 0.22/washing machine <br /> (10) Car wash 0.70/wash rack <br /> (11) Hair Salons and 0.20/wash basin <br /> barber shops <br /> The impact fee for non-residential users will be considered <br /> an initial fee to establish a usage base. An additional <br /> annual fee will be charged every January fifteenth, for <br /> additional capacity used above the usage base for a period of <br /> five (5) years calculated in gallons per day using the <br /> following formula: <br /> Average daily usage - usage base = adjustment amount <br />
