60 Regular Meeting November 14, 1983 Page 10 CO., INC., FOR CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS CONSISTING OF PAVING, DRAINAGE, WATER DISTRIBUTION AND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS ON GRAVEL STREET, A PART OF THE PATTON STREET EXTENSION PROJECT; ACCEPTING SAID PROJECT FOR USE BY SAID CITY; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT IN THE N~OUNT OF $6,206.65 AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Resolution, and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS~ APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT FOR MUTUAL AID IN FIRE PROTECTION BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE SOUTH HAYS COUNTY RURAL FIRE PREVENTION DISTRICT, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAN MARCOS TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Farr moved to table this Resolution and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion for the next regularly scheduled City Council Meeting. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Farr, Guerra, Craddock, Kissler, Moore. NAY: Kreczmer. ABSTAIN: None. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration authorization to bid air compressor for Fire Department. Mr. Brown moved to authorize to bid air compressor for the Fire Department and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration award of bid for tractor slope mower. Ms. Kissler moved to award bid to Jim Winn Iron Works for the amount of $24,989.00, and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Farr, Guerra, Craddock, Kissler, Kreczmer. NAY: Moore. ABSTAIN: None. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration award of bid for curb and gutter machine. Mr. Brown moved to award bid to Cooper Equipment Co. for the amount of $24,870.00, and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Farr, Guerra, Craddock, Kissler. NAY: Kreczmer, Moore. ABSTAIN: None. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration award of bid on front end loader. Mr. Guerra moved to award bid to Cooper Equipment Co. for the amount of $9,925.00, and Mr. Brown seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Farr, Guerra, Craddock, Kissler, Kreczmer. NAY: Moore. ABSTAIN: None.
