<br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> This area should be used to describe briefly the eligible projects by <br /> section outlined in the Pre-Application Manual. A separate forms Project <br /> Proposal may be submitted in lieu of this. (See Manual) <br /> SECTION A: Support for technical and professional administrative <br /> assistance for the local historic preservation program. <br /> Cost: -0- <br /> SECTION B: Completion or updating of a survey and inventory of historic <br /> resources. <br /> COST: -0- <br /> SECTION C: Nomination of properties to the National Register. <br /> ( 1) There are approximately 4 to 5 properties which have been <br /> preliminarily identified as possible nominations to the National Register <br /> however, the research has not been completed. The Hays County Historic <br /> Preservation Commission and selected professionals who will be conducting <br /> the research of these properties have been identified. <br /> (2) Development of a local marker program. It has not yet been <br /> decided which the City of San Marcos will pursue. <br /> COST: $2,600.00 <br /> <br /> SECTION D: Development or updating of a historic preservation plan. <br /> COST: -0- <br /> SECTION E: Educational activities, programs and publications. <br /> ( 1) Development and publication of a Downtown historic shopping and <br /> walking tour of the Downtown Historic District to be distributed at the <br /> Tourist Information Center, Chamber of Commerce, and Tourist information <br /> packets. Groups involved are the Downtown Association, Tourist Development <br /> Council and the City of San Marcos. 4,000 to 5,000 brochures printed in <br /> the first publication. <br /> ( 2) Driving tour of the Downtown Historic District, the San Antonio <br /> Street Historic District and the Belvin Street Historic District to be <br /> distributed at the Tourist Information Center, Chamber of Commerce, and <br /> Tourist information packets. Groups involved are the Downtown Association, <br /> Tourist Development Council and the City of San Marcos. 7,500 brochures <br /> printed in the first publication. <br /> COST: $4,800.00 <br /> <br /> Jevised: January 1990 <br />
