<br /> 6. FAIR HOUSING ACTIVITIES <br /> Any locality receiving funds under the 1989 Texas Community Development <br /> Program must certify that it will affirmatively further fair housing. Each <br /> applicant must submit this form indicating which fair housing activities are <br /> presently being undertaken and which new activities will be undertaken, if <br /> TCDP assistance is awarded. <br /> localities should be aware that, in the event of funding, these fair housing <br /> efforts will be monitored by TCDP staff. <br /> Indicate below which fair housing activities are presently undertaken and will <br /> be undertaken, if funded. Activities which qual ify as affirmatively <br /> furthering fair housing include, but are not limited to, the following: <br /> Present'ly Will Be <br /> Undertaken Undertaken <br /> Passing a fair housing ordinance. X <br /> Developing a strategy to pass a fair <br /> housing ordinance. <br /> Issue, publish, and distribute a fair <br /> housing proclqmation. <br /> Initiating a fair housing counseling service. <br /> Assisting fair housing groups.
