OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING A NO <br /> ..... <br /> PARKING TOW-AWAY ZONE ON COMANCHE STREET; PROVIDING FOR <br /> ! SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; <br /> PROVIDING A PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 29-111 of the San Marcos Code of <br /> Ordinances is amended to add the following portion of Comanche <br /> Street, codified in alphabetical order, upon which parking shall be <br /> prohibited: <br /> Comanche Street, west side, from its intersection with Lindsey <br /> Street a distance of 90 feet to the South. <br /> SECTION 2. That Section 29-150(c) of the San Marcos Code <br /> of Ordinances is amended to add the following portion of <br /> Comanche Street, codified in alphabetical order, from which illegally <br /> parked vehicles may be towed at the direction of a police <br /> officer: <br /> Comanche Street, west side, from its intersection with Lindsey <br /> Street, a distance of 90 feet to the South. <br /> SECTION 3. That if any word, phrase, sentence, section, or portion <br /> of this ordinance is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be <br /> unconstitutional or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining <br /> provisions of this ordinance shall remain in effect. <br /> SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 5. That any person violating any provision of this <br /> ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction <br /> shall be fined in accordance with Section 1-5 of the San Marcos Code of <br /> Ordinances. <br /> SECTION 6.
