<br /> ç::) 84 <br /> (::'s:" <br /> Cr-' <br /> 0<=> <br /> -,~ <br /> .;;;;3, OR1ìI117\1'iCE 1990- 60 <br /> ,--J <br /> -) <br /> v <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE DESIGNATION OF FIFTEEN <br /> MINUTE PARKING ON GUADALUPE STREET BETWEEN UNIVERSITY <br /> DRIVE AND HUTCHISON STREET; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; <br /> REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A <br /> PENALTY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1: That, pursuant to Section 29-147 of the San Marcos <br /> Code of Ordinances the designation of fifteen (15) minute parking on <br /> the west side of Guadalupe Street between Hutchison Street and <br /> University Drive as shown on the attached map is hereby approved. No <br /> person shall park a vehicle within this designated area for a period <br /> of time longer than fifteen (15) minutes. <br /> SECTION 2: That if any word, phrase, sentence, section, or portion <br /> of this ordinance is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be <br /> unconstitutional or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining <br /> provisions of this ordinance shall remain in effect. <br /> SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 4: That any person violating any provision of this <br /> ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction <br /> shall be fined in accordance with Section 1-5 of the San Marcos Code of <br /> Ordinances. <br /> SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) <br /> days from and after its passage, and it shall be published in a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the <br /> Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading July 23, 1990. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading August 13, 1990. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED AND ADOPTED <br /> Atte~ <br /> its ,'w "fr"~ Approved: <br /> ~6.~ <br /> City Secretary <br /> Mark B.
