<br /> C. The County Sheriff will be responsible for <br />supervision of the child abuse investigator. The investigator's <br />responsibilities shall include appropriate investigation of all <br />reports of child abuse and other offenses against children referred <br />to the investigator by the City Police Department. <br /> 5. city's Aqreements: <br /> <br /> A. The city will provide a vehicle equipped with a two- <br />way police band radio for use by the child abuse investigator. <br />The City will be responsible for the costs associated with the <br />maintenance and operation of the investigator's vehicle. <br /> B. The City agrees to pay to the County the following <br />portions of the salary and benefits of the child abuse investigator <br />during the respective years of this agreement as defined in Section <br />7 below: <br /> Year 2: 10% <br /> Year 3: 20% <br /> Year 4: 30% <br /> Year 5: 40% <br />The County agrees to provide information to the City not later than <br />July 15th of each year of this agreement substantiating the salary <br />and benefits to be paid to the investigator during the following <br />year. The City will make payments to the County on a quarterly <br />basis. <br /> 6. Availability of Funding: Funding by e9ch party to meet <br />its obligations under this agreement is understood to be from <br />current revenues, and subject to annual appropriation by the <br />
