ORDINANCE NO. 74 <br /> <br /><J .AN ORDIN1\NCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />~ CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXì\S ,1\r.1ENDING <br />- CHAPTER 29-81 OF THE SAN M,1\.RCOS CODE OF <br />OG- ORDINANCES APPROVING THE DESIGNATION OF A <br />("\' PORTION OF BLì\NCO STREET .i\S l\ ONE-\v.1\Y <br />STREET; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY: <br />REPEì\LING ALL CONFLICTING ORDHP\NCES; <br />PROVIDING A PENALTY AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT ORDA.INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF S1\N M.1\RCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That Section 29-81 of the San Marcos Code of <br />Ordinances is amended to include the following portion of <br />Blanco Street, codified in alphabetical order, as a one-\.¡ay <br />street: <br /> <br />Blanco Street, from Hutchison Street. to Burleson <br />Street - North. <br /> <br />Section 2: That if any word, phrase, clause, sentence, <br />or paragraph of this ordinance is held to be unconstitutional <br />or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the <br />remaining provisions of this ordinance shall remain in effect <br />as if toe unconstitutional or invalid portion had not been <br />adopted. <br /> <br />Section 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances <br />in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 4: That any person ~Ñho violates any provision <br />of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and <br />upon conviction shall be subject to the penalty prescribed in <br />Section 1-5 of the San Marcos Code of Ordinances. <br /> <br />Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten <br />(1Ø) days from and after its passage, and it shall be <br />published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area <br />as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />PA.SSED AND APPROVED on first reading August 27, 1990. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading September 10, 1990. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND A.DOPTED <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Atte~øf~ <br /> <br />~s K.
