24 RESOLUTION 1990- 114R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING A GRANT OFFER FROM THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION FOR A DEVELOPMENT PROJECT AT THE SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS AND INSTRUMENTS INCIDENT TO THE PURPOSES OF THE GRANT PROJECT, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on September 7, 1990, the City of San Marcos applied to the Federal Aviation Administration for federal assistance in connection with a project for the development of the San Marcos Municipal Airport; and, WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration in a letter to the Mayor dated September 12,1990, has offered a grant to the City for improvements to the San Marcos Municipal Airport; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the City of San Marcos accepts the grant offer from the Federal Aviation Administration for improvements to the San Marcos Municipal Airport. PART 2. That the terms and conditions of a grant agreement between the City and the Federal Aviation Administration for a development project at the San Marcps Municipal Airport, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, are hereby approved. PART 3. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents and instruments incident to the purposes of the grant project. PART 4.
