<br /> ARTICLE 7 <br /> TERMINATION <br /> 7.1 lither party may terminate this Agreement by <br /> giving formal written notice to the other party of it. intent <br /> to terminate thi, Agreement not le.. than twelve (12) month. <br /> prior to the end of a term at the end of which term it intends <br /> to terminate the lame, providing .uch notice 40e. not terminate <br /> the Agreement prior to the end of the initial five (5) year <br /> term of this Agreement except a. provided hereinbelow. <br /> 7.2 Upon termination of this Agreement LCRA .hall <br /> return to CITY the SYSTEM, the books and records, cash, invest- <br /> ment., accounts receivable, materials and supplies, and any <br /> other properties of CITY at that time held by LCRA under this <br /> Agreement. <br /> 7.3 At the end of the initial twelve (12) month <br /> period from date of execution of this Agreement, CITY may <br /> assume CUSTOMER meter reading, collection of CUSTOMER billing <br /> and .associateð support functions in Austin, Texas, being <br /> performed by LCRA upon reasonable written notice to LCRA and <br /> under circumstances in which the tran.fer of the functions <br /> either would be more economical and efficient for the CITY to <br /> a.lume the functions, or would be in the best interest <br /> -25- <br />
