<br /> (1) Maximum wastewater flow per day from airport <br /> sources into the Center's wastewater processing <br /> facilities shall not exceed 100,000 gallons. <br /> (2) Wastewater strengths shall be controlled by regular <br /> laboratory analysis accomplished by the Guadalupe- <br /> Blanco River Authority in Seguin, Texas, assuring <br /> the following criteria are met: <br /> The Center shall have the authority and responsibility to <br /> compile a 3 part composite sample for analysis weekly. This <br /> composite sample shall be collected from points immediately <br /> downstream from Airport property at 10:00 A.M., 1:00 P.M. and 4:00 <br /> P.M. on each sampling day. The following limitations shall <br /> prevail. <br /> (a) Raw effluent biochemical oxygen demand shall not <br /> exceed 355 milligrams per liter. <br /> (b) Raw effluent total suspended solids shall not <br /> exceed 252 milligrams per liter. <br /> (c) Raw effluent hydrogen ion pH shall not be less than <br /> 6.0 standard units nor more than 9.0 standard <br /> units. <br /> (3) There shall be no discharge of hydrocarbons such as <br /> gasoline, oil, solvents, etc., into the wastewater <br /> system. <br /> (4) There shall be no other toxic chemicals or debris <br /> discharged into the wastewater system. <br /> B. The City will pay the Government for wastewater treatment <br /> at a rate equal to the rate charged by the City for equivalent <br /> service at City owned wastewater treatment and processing <br /> facilities. (The current rate charged by the City is $1.38 per <br /> I,QOO gallons of wastewater.) Measurement of the amount of <br /> wastewater processed shall be determined by the total metered <br /> consumption of water at all Airport facilities. <br /> C. Billing for wastewater treatment shall begin upon <br /> execution of this Agreement. The fees identified will be paid in <br />
