<br /> 66 <br /> RESOLUTION 1990-129R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br /> CONDITIONS OF AMENDMENT NUMBER TWO TO THE <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM CONTRACT NUMBER <br /> 707641 BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE TEXAS <br /> DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br /> TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE <br /> CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City executed Community Development Program <br />Contract No. 707641 with the Texas Department of Commerce (TDOC) on <br />May 15, 1988; and, <br />WHEREAS, TDOC has requested an amendment to this Contract for <br />the purpose of extending the contract time for an additional year; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds the proposed amendment to be <br />necessary and appropriate, and in the interest of the citizens of <br />San Marcos; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. That the terms and conditions of the Amendment No. 2 <br />to Community Development Program Contract No. 707641 between the <br />City and TDOC are hereby approved. <br />PART 2. That the Mayor, Kathy M. Morris be, and she is hereby <br />authorized to execute the above-described amendment on behalf of <br />the City. <br />PART 3.
