<br /> 5. Encouraging and assisting existing businesses to <br /> expand; <br /> 6. Identifying and stimulating prospects interested in <br /> locating in the San Marcos area; <br /> 7. Identifying and stimulating prospects interested in <br /> locating in the Austin-San Marcos-San Antonio <br /> Corridor, Central Texas Region, and state; <br /> 8. Developing a local contact committee to convey <br /> current information to prospects in an efficient, <br /> timely and cost-effective manner; and, <br /> 9. Updating the EDC fact book in a timely manner. <br /> B. EDC shall not refuse any of the services described in <br />paragraph l(A), above, to any person, firm or organization because <br />of inability to pay, age, sex, disability, race, nationality, or <br />religion. <br /> c. EDC shall not assign any interest in this contract nor <br />delegate the performance of any of its duties without the prior <br />written consent of the City and Chamber. <br /> II. <br /> A. Chamber shall provide necessary skilled and knowledgeable <br />personnel, equipment, supplies, and vehicles for the administration <br />and operation of the economic development services required herein. <br /> B. Chamber shall provide office facilities at the San Marcos <br />Chamber of Commerce building and utilities to EDC sufficient to <br />allow EDC to carry out the economic development services described <br />herein. <br /> C. Chamber shall not refuse any of the services described in <br />this agreement to any person, firm or organization because of <br />inability to pay, age, sex, disability, race, nationality, or <br />religion. <br />
