98 RESOLUTION 1990-136R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS RATIFYING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS HISTORICAL COMMISSION ON SEPTEMBER 14, 1990 FOR ADDITIONAL CERTIFIED LOCAL GOVERNMENT GRANT ASSISTANCE, APPROVING AMENDMENT NUMBER ONE TO THE CERTIFIED LOCAL GOVERNMENT GRANT AGREEMENT EXECUTED ON JUNE 1,1990, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos entered into an agreement (the "Agreement") with the Texas Historical Commission on June 1, 1990 for $3,700.00 in funding for projects authorized under the Certified Local Government (CLG) Program, and, WHEREAS, the Texas Historical Commission notified the City of San Marcos of the availability of additional funds under the CLG Program on August 30, 1990, and, WHEREAS, the City Planning and Development Services staff applied for additional CLG Program funding on September 14, 1990, and, WHEREAS, the City has been awarded an additional $1,000.00 by the Texas Historical Commission under the CLG Program in the form of an amendment to the Agreement; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the submission of an application to the Texas Historical Commission on September 14, 1990 for additional funding under the CLG Program, a copy of which is attached to this Resolution is hereby ratified. PART 2. That the terms and conditions of Amendment 1 to the Agreement, a copy of which is attached to this Resolution, are hereby approved. PART 3. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley is hereby au'i::horized to execute the contract amendment on behalf of the City. PART 4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
