AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ~ CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING {)- SECTION 18-7 OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF - ORDINANCES TO ADD FEES FOR THE SUMMER -' PLAYGROUND PROGRAM, AND TO INCREASE USER . FEES FOR RIO VISTA SWIMMING POOL AND FOR CARNIVALS/ CIRCUSES, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Section 18-7 of the San Marcos Code of Ordinances is amended by amending subdivisions (d) and (f), and adding subdivision (i), to read as follows: (d) Rio Vista Swimming Pool: Admission Adult (IS years old and above) $ 1.ØØ Children (14 years old and under) .5Ø Lessons per 2-week session $ lS.ØØ Training sessions: For swimming teams a ten dollars ($lØ.ØØ) per week fee shall be collected in advance. Such fee entitles the team to use the pool five (5) days per week when the pool is not open for public use or swimming classes. The fees for pool parties (use of the pool after regular pool hours-8:ØØ p.m. to 11:ØØ p.m.) are: Number of persons Fee per hour Ø-3Ø $ 2Ø.ØØ 31-75 $ 2S.ØØ 76 or more $ 3Ø.ØØ (f) Carnivals/Circuses: Per day use fee (In addition to $ 5Ø.ØØ permit fee and deposit) Permit - Nonprofit organization sponsor $lØØ.ØØ Permit - Commercial organization $2SØ.ØØ Clean-up and damage deposit (All organizations) $2ØØ.ØØ (i) Summer Playground Program: San Marcos resident $ 15.ØØ Non-resident $ 3Ø.ØØ SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (lØ) days from and after its passage, and it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.
