<br />17 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />1989-1 <br /> <br />A RF~OLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF 11.35 ACRES <br />CONSISTING OF 13 LOTS IN THE SOUTH PARK COMMERCIAL <br />SUBDIVISION, CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, <br />LOCATED ALONG THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF IH-35 SOUTH BETWEEN <br />CENTERPOINT ROAD AND POSEY ROAD FROM UNDESIGNATED TO <br />INDUSTRIAL; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 18, <br />Zoning Commission meeting of the <br />was held regarding a request <br />(Map) of the Master Plan from <br />acres of land consisting of <br />Subdivision, located along <br />between Centerpoint Road and <br /> <br />1988 during the Joint Planning and <br />City of San Marcos a public hearing <br />to amend the Future Land Use Plan <br />Undesignated to Industrial of 11.35 <br />13 lots in the South park Commercial <br />the Northwest side of IH-35 south <br />Posey Road, Hays County, Texas: and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />Commissions <br />request and voted <br />recommended that such <br />of said City: and, <br /> <br />subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said <br />did, on October 18, 1988, consider said <br />to approve the same and have <br />request be approved by the City Council <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the <br />January, 1989, regarding such request: and, <br /> <br />q <br /> <br />day <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements <br />amendments have been met: and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Master <br /> <br />Plan <br /> <br />pertaining <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety: now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That a 11.35 acre tract of land located along the <br />Northwest Side of IH-35 South between Centerpoint Road and Posey Road, <br />San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, as more particularly described in <br />Exhibit "A" which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) <br />of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Undesignated shall <br />be shown on said map as Industrial as more particularly described in <br />Exhibit "B", attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes. <br /> <br />PART 2.
