<br />SECTION 4. That the City Council of the City of San
<br />Marcos, Texas shall, on or before April 21, 1989, by resolution
<br />duly adopted, appoint presiding judges and alternate judges to
<br />serve in said election at the polling places for the respective
<br />precincts set forth hereinabove, and it shall be each such judge's
<br />duty to hold the election in the respective precincts set forth
<br />hereinabove, and any vacancies occurring after the appointment of
<br />judges and alternate judges may be filled by subsequent
<br />resolution(s) of the City Council.

<br />SECTION 5. That each presiding judge shall appoint two
<br />(2) clerks to serve for each precinct in said election.
<br />
<br />SECTION 6. That precincts numbered ll, 12, 13, 14, 16,
<br />20, 30, 34/45, 36,44 and 46 shall be polling places for the joint
<br />general election of the City of San Marcos, Texas and the San
<br />Marcos Consolidated Independent School District.
<br />
<br />SECTION 7. That precincts numbered 10, 15, 21, 31, 47,
<br />Martindale and Staples shall be polling places for the San Marcos
<br />Consolidated Independent School District general election only.
<br />
<br />SECTION B. That said general election shall be conducted
<br />jointly with the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School
<br />District Board of Trustees Election pursuant to the terms and
<br />conditions of a Joint Election Agreement to be entered into
<br />between said School District and said City.

<br />SECTION 9. That Janis K. Womack be, and she is hereby,
<br />appointed clerk for absentee voting for said City and that Julîe
<br />Vîllanueva, Susan Ripps, Janie Rodriguez, Sheri Sanderson, Roger
<br />Fernandez, Laura Baker, Gerald Champagne, Elizabeth Champagne,
<br />Johnnie Armstead, Austin Curlee, Bill Pryatel and Hector Mendez
<br />be, and they are hereby, appointed deputy clerks for absentee
<br />voting for said City.

<br />SECTION 10. That Roger Fernandez shall be the clerk for
<br />absentee voting for said School District.
<br />
<br />SECTION 11. That the main absentee polling place for
<br />absentee voting by personal appearance for said City election is
<br />City Hall, 630 East Hopkins Street in said City, and the temporary
<br />branch absentee polling place for absentee voting by personal
<br />appearance for said City election is the School Administration
<br />Building, 501 S. L.B.J. Drive in said City. The maîn absentee
<br />polling place for absentee voting by personal appearance for said
<br />School District election is the School Administration Building,
<br />501 S. L. B. J. Drive in said City, and the temporary branch
<br />absentee polling place for absentee voting by personal appearance
<br />for said School District election is City Hall, 630 East Hopkins
<br />Street in said City. Absentee voting by personal appearance shall
<br />be conducted during normal workîng days in the City Hall and in
<br />the School Administration Building from April 17, 1989 through
<br />May 2, 1989, and the hours for absentee voting shall be from 8:00
<br />a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
<br />SECTION 12. That absentee voting by mail ballot shall be
<br />conducted in accordance with Chapters 84, 101, 102 and 103 of the
<br />Election Code, V.T.C.A. The address of 630 East Hopkins, San
<br />Marcos, Texas, 78666, shall be the absentee clerk's mailing
