I <br /> I 2) To establish a Job Information Center to assist the ESL population in I <br /> I <br /> ¡ exploring career options, developing job search skiUs, writing resumes, I <br /> I <br /> I and obtaining information about vocational training and job opportunities. I <br /> I 3) To publicize project services to those for whom English is a second I <br /> I language. I <br /> I SUMMARY OF OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES: I <br /> I I <br /> I 1) To develop a student assessment and tracking system. I <br /> I 2) To expand walk-in tutoring hours from 20 to 25 per week. I <br /> I 3) To recruit and train volunteers in ESL, GED, and literacy tutoring. I <br /> [ 4) To supplement the tutoring program by providing computer assisted I <br /> I instruction in adult basic education and ESL. I <br /> I 5) To develop a job information resource collection. I <br /> I 6) To purchase simple word processing, resume writing, career explora- I <br /> I tion, and related software for the Job I nformation Center. I <br /> I 7) To develop a display about, and bilingual resource guide to, area I <br /> I vocational training and employment programs, I <br /> I 8) To provide a resume writing and evaluation service. I <br /> I 9) To provide seminars on the use of the library as a job-finding resource.
