STAPLE TO ABOVE SHEET. <br /> SECTION IY-AEMARKS ",-,.-- tN""",., I.", ,.,...,. from s.cø-/. 1/ tW III. if .,.J1abl.1 <br /> 1-7 The Sheriff Departments of Comal, Guadalupe, and Hays Counties along with the <br /> Police Departments of New Braunfels and San Marcos have joined together to form a <br /> Tri-County Multi Agency Law Enforcement Unit which we are seeking Criminal Justice <br /> Division Monies for a Co-ordinator, Secretary, and a part-time individual (who would <br /> work 20 hours per week for 45 weeks). <br /> The Departments involved in this unit will have a written interlocal agreement spe- <br /> cifying each agency will furnish an officer paid out of their respective budgets to <br /> assist and be dedicated to this Tri-County Multi-Agency Law Enforcement Unit to for' <br /> ward all burglaries, robberies, child abuse, frauds, narcotic, vice, etc. cases <br /> which could lead to the capture of career criminals and recovery of stolen property <br /> from any fencing operations located in the geographical area of the five lawenforce- <br /> ment departments involved in this grant proposal. <br /> The coordinator will compile the different cases and information from the liaison <br /> people into a computer and analyze the data, then letting each respective department <br /> know where their problems and cases are interlinked. The search warrant is necessary <br /> or stake-out is recoß1TlE!nded by Co-ordinator.
