<br /> BUDGET <br /> CJD-IO A <br /> The co-ordinator of the Tri-County Multi-Agency Law <br /> Enforcement will be hired by the Sheriff and Chief of <br /> Police of each agency involved in this grant and who <br /> contribute to the matching funds. <br /> This co-ordinator will be responsible for the <br /> follow i n g: <br /> A. Supervisor and Manager of office which is <br /> initially located in San Marcos. Certainly <br /> it is optional to be moved to Comal or <br /> Guadalupe Counties. <br /> B. Collect all data from each agency in <br /> reference to case reports, intell igence, <br /> arrests, pertaining to major cases (Index <br /> Crimes). <br /> c. Contribute to each department his expertise <br /> analysis of trends in any of the major crimes <br /> which should lead to clearance of other <br /> agency cases of similar types. <br /> D. Keep up with recovery of stolen merchan- <br /> dise and the people who are known to be <br /> involved in purchasing such property. <br /> E. Keep all agencies comprised of all sex <br /> criminals, career criminals, and traveling <br /> offenders in the Tri-County area. <br /> The secretary will be responsible for answering phone, <br /> typing, filing and dispensing information requested by <br /> each agency when co-ordinator is gone. <br /> The part-time person will most likely be used to enter <br /> data into computer collected from each contributing agency <br /> and will be working only 900 hours per year. Most of the <br /> time they will be working evening hours to assist officers <br /> from the respective agencies involved in the event they <br /> need information after normal business hours. The cost <br /> for salaries of all three personnel is $43,500 which the <br /> Grant will repay if our request is approved. <br /> The fringe benefits are the percentage and costs <br /> incurred by Carnal County to pay the co-ordinator, secretary, <br />
