<br /> ARTICLE III - TIME OF PERFORMANCE <br />CONSULTANT agrees that the Scope of Services detailed in <br />EXHIBIT A shall commence on June 1, 1989 and sha 11 be <br />completed within Eight (8) months. The work shall be <br />undertaken and accomplished in such sequence as to assure its <br />expeditious completion. <br />No extension of this Contract will be allowed unless prior <br />written consent of the CITY is first obtained, Reasonable <br />changes of the schedule may be granted as provided in ARTICLE <br />VIII with mutual agreement by the CITY and CONSULTANT. <br /> ARTICLE IV - STUDY COORDINATION AND REPORTS <br />A. COORDINATION. The CITY designates City Manager Larry <br /> Gilley as its proj ect Coordinator. Study data, <br /> analysis, findings, and recommendations will be reviewed <br /> and coordinated with the CITY.s staff during performance <br /> of the work program by CONSULTANT. <br />B. INSPECTION OF WORK. CONSULTANT shall permit authorized <br /> representatives of the CITY and UMTA to review and <br /> inspect the study activities. <br />C. PROGRESS REPORTS. CONSULTANT shall submit to the CITY <br /> monthly progress reports. These reports shall outline <br /> work accomplished during the prevlous month. These <br /> reports will include, but not be limited to, the <br /> percentage of completion of the overall project, special <br /> problems or delays encountered or anticipated, the <br /> anticipated work activities for the next work period, <br /> and a brief description of work accomplished, <br /> methodologies used, and conclusions reached, if any. <br /> Progress reports will be prepared according to a format <br /> approved by the CITY. <br />D. CREDIT AND DISCLAIMER. Each report prepared by <br /> CONSULTANT shall include the following on the title page <br /> where appropriate: <br /> (1) An acknowledgement such as "prepared in cooperation <br /> with the Department of Transportation, Urban Mass <br /> Transportation Administration.1I <br /> (2) A disclaimer similar to the following: liThe <br /> contents of this report reflect the views of <br /> CONSULTANT, who is responsible for the facts and <br /> the accuracy of the data presented herein. The <br /> contents do not necessarily reflect the official <br /> views or policies of the Urban Mass Transportation <br /> Administration. This report does not constitute a <br /> standard, specification, or regulation.1I <br /> -2- <br />
