<br /> 53 <br /> STATE OF TEXAS <br /> INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR THE USE OF <br /> FUEL BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS AND HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS <br /> COUNTY OF HAYS <br /> KNOW ALL PERSONS BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> That the City of San Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation under <br /> the laws of the State of Texas, acting by and thro1lgh the authority <br /> conferred on its City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, by resolution <br /> of the City Council adopted June , 26 , 1989, hereinafter referred <br /> to as "City" and Hays County, Texas, by and through the authority <br /> conferred on the County Judge, Don Rains, by the County Commissioners <br /> Court on June 6, 1989, hereinafter re ferred to as "County" he re by <br /> enter into this interlocal agreement pursuant to the following terms <br /> and provisions. <br /> 1. <br /> This ag reeme n t is for City's consumption of fuel and use of <br /> fuel facilities owned by County and located at the Hays County Law <br /> Enforcement Center, 1307 Uhland Road, San Harcos, Texas. <br /> II. <br /> It is expressly ag reed that, beginning on June 27, 1989 and <br /> continuing until terminated as provided herein, County will permit <br /> City to fuel no more than 125 City vehicles burning unleaded fuel on <br /> an "as needed" basis at the Hays County Law Enforcement Center. <br /> Access to said fuel facilities shall be provided to City 24 hours per <br /> day, seven days a week. <br /> III. <br /> County will provide 125 fuel cards to City for access to fuel <br /> pumps. City will pay a onø-time fee of $450.00 for the <br /> preparatìon at said cards. The tuel cards will Je returned to <br /> County upon termination of this agreement. <br /> IV. <br /> City agrees to pay County, within thirty (30) days after receipt <br /> of its invoice therefor, for fuel consumed, at the same rate County <br /> pays its fuel supplier: <br /> Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) weekly published price <br /> for this geographical region plus .03 (three cents) per gallon <br /> consumed. <br />
