EXHIBIT I Page I *********** FIELD NOTES *********** A parcel of land containing 0.2851 acre (12,420 square feet) out of the William Pettus Two League Grant, Caldwell County, Texas, and lying wholly within the San Marcos Airport; this parcel is shown on a plat of a survey dated 10 July 1989 by Charles R. Swart, Surveyor, and is more particularly described by metes and bounds in the following paragraphs. Bearings are based on the center line bearing of State Highway 21 as shown on the right of way map of the Texas Highway Department dated 27 March 1937, as the center line was found marked on the ground between stations 129 + 53 and 158 + 10. The point cited as the West Reference Mark (point 50) is a 3/8 inch diameter drill hole near the west end of the concrete parking ramp, and 9.5 feet north of the south edge of the ramp. The point cited as the East Reference Mark (point 51) is a 3/8 inch diameter drill hole in the concrete parking ramp opposite the east legs of the old control tower, and 9.5 feet north of the south edge of the ramp. From the West Reference Mark, the East Reference Mark bears South 89 degrees 58 minutes 34 seconds East a distance of 1505.44 feet. Beginning at the east corner of this parcel, which is marked with a 3/4 inch I. D. iron pipe on the northwest side of an asphalt taxiway, and from which the West Reference Mark (point 50) bears South 68 degrees 52 minutes 39 seconds East a distance of 248.02 feet; thence, from the point of beginning, South 67 degrees 27 minutes 44 seconds West along the southeast line of this parcel, which is on the northwest side of the said taxiway, a distance of 135.00 feet to the south corner of this parcel, which is marked with a 3/4 inch I. D. iron pipe; thence North 22 degrees 32 minutes 16 seconds West along the southwest line of this parcel a distance of 92.00 feet to the west corner of this parcel, which is marked with a 3/4 inch I. D. iron pipe on the southeast line of the 3.489 acre GT + 3 hangar tract; thence North 67 degrees 27 minutes 44 seconds East along the southeast line of the 3.489 acre tract and the northwest line of this parcel a distance of 135.00 feet to the north corner of this parcel, which is marked with a 3/4 inch I. D. iron pipe; thence South 22 degrees 32 minutes 16 seconds East along the northeast line of this parcel a distance of 92.00 feet to the point of beginning. *********** STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HAYS I, CHARLES R.
