<br /> ARTICLE 10 <br /> BASIS OF COMPENSATION <br /> The Owner shall compensate the Consultant for the Scope of <br /> Services provided, in accordance with Article 4, Payments to the <br /> Consultant, and the other terms and conditions of this Agreement, <br /> as follows: <br /> 10.1 BASIC COMPENSATION <br /> 10.1.1 For services, as described in Article 1, Compensation <br /> shall be computed as follows: <br /> A total sum not to exceed $23,865.00 without prior written <br /> authorization, payable monthly as follows: <br /> I. TASK 1 - FILE REVIEWS/SITE RECONNAISANCE $1,761.00. <br /> II. TASK 2 - WELL PLUGGING 3,377.00. <br /> III. TASK 3 - WELL INSTALLATION, DEVELOPMENT <br /> AND TESTING 10,475.00. <br /> IV. TASK 4 - GROUND WATER SAMPLING 3,688.00. <br /> V. TASK 5 - DATA ANALYSIS AND REPORT <br /> PREPARATION 4,564.00. <br /> 10.2 COMPENSATION FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> Authorization by the Owner of Additional Services by the <br /> Consultant will include a limit of the associated fee. <br /> Compensation for Additional Services will be based on the list of <br /> charges for Additional Services, shown as Appendix A, attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes and shall be billed <br /> monthly. <br /> -13- <br />
