64 MINUTES OF THE EMERGENCY MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, FEBRUARY 14, 1984 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl W. Brown Gerald G. Farr * Fred Guerra Betty Jane Kissler John A. Kreczmer Jaime Moore City Manager A. C. Gonzalez City Secretary Janis K. Womack City Attorney Lamar W. Hankins Also Present: Jack Lindstrom, Bill Coddington, Mark Hendricks, Olga Garza, Jane Woods, Marcos Hernandez, Sylvia Caskey and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 5:45 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration an Ordinance on first reading, which Ordinance was read in its entirety, the caption which reads as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE 1983- 80 ADOPTED DECEMBER 29, 1983 TO INCREASE THE MEMBER- SHIP OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, DESIGNATING THE NUMBER OF APPOINTMENTS TO BE MADE BY EACH TAXING UNIT TO SUCH BOARD, SETTING FORTH THE TERMS OF SUCH BOARD MEMBERS AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Brown moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration an Ordinance on first reading, which Ordinance was read in its entirety, the caption which reads as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ARTICLE II OF EXHIBIT C OF ORDINANCE 1983-80 ADOPTED DECEMBER 29, 1983 TO INCREASE THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, DESIGNATING THE NUMBER OF APPOINTMENTS TO BE MADE BY EACH TAXING UNIT TO SUCH BOARD, SETTING FORTH THE TERMS OF SUCH BOARD MEMBERS AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Brown moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
