<br /> 47 <br /> ORDINANCE 1989-49 <br /> Air OPDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 29-147, OF CHAPTER <br /> 29-TRAFFIC OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY <br /> ADDING WORDING TO ALLOW FOR THE DESIGNATION OF <br /> HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACES AT THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE <br /> TRAFFIC ENGINEER, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 29-147 of the San Marcos Code of <br /> Ordinances is amended to read as follows: <br /> Sec. 29-147. Designation and Marking of Handicapped Parking <br /> Spaces, parking stalls and areas where parking is <br /> prohibited or limited. <br /> (a) The Traffic eng ineer of the City shall provide for the <br /> designation of handicapped parking spaces and shall cause <br /> parking stalls to be marked off in and on such streets <br /> and parts thereof as may be designated by the City Council <br /> from time to time. <br /> SECTION 2.
