<br /> 136 <br /> RESOLUTION 1989-l38R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br /> EXECUTE AMENDMENT NUMBER TWO TO THAT AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND COUNTY OF <br /> HAYS FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the contract between the City of San Marcos <br /> and Hays County for emergency medical services expired on <br /> September 30, 1989; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council extended that contract for a <br /> period of 60 days; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the contract amended on September 25, 1989 <br /> expires November 30, 1989; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to extend that <br /> contract until January 10, 1990; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the Amendment Number Two to that contract <br /> for the provision of emergency medical services between the <br /> City of San Marcos and Hays County, attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein is approved; and <br /> PART 2. That the Mayor, Kathy M. Morris be and she is <br /> hereby authorized to execute the amendment on behalf of the <br /> City. <br /> PART 3.
