<br /> 140 <br /> RESOLUTION 1989-l40R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> HARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING FREE PARKING IN HETERED <br /> PARKING STALLS IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT <br /> FROM THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 1989, THROUGH SUNDAY, <br /> DECEMBER 31, 1989, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to encourage the citizens of San <br /> Marcos to patronize local businesses by removing metered parking during <br /> the Christmas and New Year's shopping season; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the enforcement of metered parking in the Central <br /> Business District of San Marcos, Texas, be suspended beginning on <br /> Thursday, November 30, 1989, and ending on Sunday, December 31, 1989. <br /> PART 2.
