-4- THENCE with the southeast line of said 43.11 acre tract, same being the northwesterly line of said Buie Tract, the following two (2) courses and distances: 1. S 27 degrees 26' 37"W, a distance of 153.66 feet to a 1/2-inch iron rod, and, 2. S 02 degrees 51' 44"E, a distance of 230.01 feet to a point in the present Corporate City Limit Line of the City of San Marcos, Texas according to City Ordinance 1970-9 for the north corner of the herein described tract and the POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE departing the said southeast line of the 43.11 acre tract, same being the said northwesterly line of the Buie Tract, and crossing a portion of said Buie Tract, with said City Limit Line according to Ordinance 1970-9, S 45 degrees 00' 00" E, a distance of 395.00 feet to the present Corporate City Limit Line of said City according to City Ordinance 1973-4 for the east corner of the herein described tract; THENCE, continuing to cross said Buie Tract, with said City Limit Line according to Ordinance 1973-4, S 45 degrees 00' OO"W, a distance of 180.83 feet to a point in the north line of a 1.81 acre tract (Tract 2) as described in a deed to Indian Creek Joint Venture as recorded in Volume 585, Page 868 of the Hays County Deed Records; same being a southeast line of said Buie Tract, for the southeast corner of the herein described tract; THENCE, departing the said City Limit Line according to Ordinance 1973-4, and with the said north line of the 1.81 acre tract, same being a said southeast line of the Buie Tract, S 87 degrees 08' l6"W, a distance of 130.9l feet to a 1/2-inch iron rod for the southeast corner of the said 43.l1 acre tract, same being the southwest corner of the herein described tract; THENCE departing the said north line of the 1.81 acre tract, and with the said southeast line of the 43.11 acre tract, same being a said northwesterly line of the Buie Tract, N 02 degrees 51' 44"W, a distance of 414.24 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 1.44 acres of land. SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage and after it has been subject to reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting following its passage, and providing that the Council did not vote to reconsider it. If reconsidered on January 8, 1990, it shall be in effect ten days from and after its passage on that date if approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered or if reconsidered and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this the II day of December, 1989 , subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting scheduled for January 8, 1990 .
