<br /> 176 <br /> RESOLUTION 1989-148R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br /> CONDITIONS OF A SOCIAL SERVICES CONTRACT <br /> BETWEEN SAID CITY AND HAYS COUNTY REGARDING <br /> THE PROVISION OF LIBRARY SERVICES; AUTHORIZING <br /> THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br /> desires to enter into a contract with Hays County regarding the <br /> provision of library services to people who reside in Hays County <br /> outside the City limits; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of a proposed contract <br /> between the City of San Marcos, Texas and Hays County, Texas, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br /> intents and purposes, for the City's provision of library services <br /> to people who reside in Ha ys County outside the City limits, are <br /> hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley be, and he is <br /> hereby authorized to execute the contract on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
