<br />12 <br /> <br />A RFSOLTTTIO1\T OF <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />ASSISTANCE FOR <br />AND AUTHORIZING <br />PRE-APPLICATION <br />THIS TRANSACTION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1988-32R <br /> <br />THR CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />APPROVING A PRE-APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL <br />A LAND TRANSFER FROM GARY JOB CORPS <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />AND ANY OTHER DOCUMENTS RELATED TO <br />AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos Municipal Airport needs additional <br />land for airport purposes; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Department of Labor is willing to transfer <br />Gary Job Corps land to the City for airport purposes; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation <br />Administration requires a pre-application for federal assistance to <br />effect that land transfer and related improvements; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the <br />pre-application at <br />therefore, <br /> <br />San <br />its <br /> <br />Marcos <br />regular <br /> <br />Airport Commission approved the <br />meeting on February 29, 1988; now, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />COUNCI L OF <br /> <br />THE <br /> <br />CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />PART 1. That the Pre-application for federal assistance attached <br />to this resolution as Exhibit 1 and made a part of it for all purposes <br />is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the City Manager <br />pre-application and any subsequent <br />transaction. <br /> <br />is authorized to execute the <br />documents related to this <br /> <br />PART 3.
