<br />47 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1988-43R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A PROPOSED <br />CONTRACT WITH THE LAW FIRM OF SAWTELLE, <br />GOODE, DAVIDSON AND TROILO FOR ITS LEGAL <br />REPRESENTATION OF THE CITY IN THE LCRA <br />RATE CASE DOCKET NO. 8032, PENDING BEFORE <br />THE PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION, <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID <br />CONTRACT, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas desires to enter <br />into a contract with the law firm of Sawtelle, Goode, Davidson <br />and Troilo to engage its legal services to intervene on behalf <br />of the City in the LCRA Rate Case, Docket No. 8032, presently <br />pending before the Public Utility Commission; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the terms and conditions of a proposed <br />contract with the law firm of Sawtelle, Goode, Davidson and <br />Troilo, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein for all purposes, for its legal representation of said <br />City in LCRA Rate Case, Docket No. 8032, pending before the <br />Public utility Commission, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute said <br />contract on behalf of said City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
