<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2007 138 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY AND THE CAPITAL AREA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS FOR <br />PUBLIC SAFETY ANSWERING POINTS EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE, <br />EQUIPMENT UPGRADE AND TRAINING; RATIFYING THE CITY <br />MANAGER'S EXECUTION OF THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />P ART I. The attached interlocal agreement between the City and the Capital Area <br />Council of Governments ("CAPCOG") for the Public Safety Answering Points ("PSAP") <br />maintenance, equipment upgrade and training in connection with the City's 9- I -1 servIce IS <br />approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. This interlocal agreement is entered into pursuant to the Interlocal <br />Cooperation Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, as amended. <br /> <br />PART 3.
