<br />169 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1988-74R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, FINDING THAT THE PAYMENT OF TAXES <br />BY MARSHALL GAS CONTROL ON PERSONAL PROPERTY GENERALLY <br />DESCRIBED AS FURNITURE AND FIXTURES IN SAID CITY <br />IS EXCESSIVE AND ERRONEOUS BY THE AMOUNT OF $4,024.60, <br />AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING A REFUND IN SUCH AMOUNT BY <br />THE TAX ASSESSOR, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />COUNCI L OF <br /> <br />THE <br /> <br />CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />PART 1. That it is hereby found and determined that the payment <br />of taxes by Marshall Gas Control to the City of San Marcos, Texas on <br />personal property generally described as furniture and fixtures in <br />said City is excessive and erroneous in the amount of $4,024.60. <br /> <br />PART 2. That a refund in the amount of $4,024.60 by the Tax <br />Assessor to the property owner(s) is hereby authorized and approved. <br /> <br />PART 3.
