<br />105 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />1988-107R <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas desires to <br /> <br />receive bids for the purchase of its $2,660,000 Waterworks and Sewer System <br /> <br />Revenue Bonds, Series 1988A; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, First Southwest Company, Dallas, Texas, has been authorized <br /> <br />and requested to prepare a Notice of Sale and Bidding Instructions, Official Bid <br /> <br />Form and Official Statement containing financial, economic and other data <br /> <br />necessary and desirable to attract bids for said bonds; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />That the attached Notice of Sale and Bidding Instructions, Official Bid Form <br />and Official Statement relative to $2,660,000 City of San Marcos, Texas <br /> <br />Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series 1988A, are hereby approved, <br /> <br />both as to form and content, and said First Southwest Company is authorized to <br /> <br />distribute said Notice of Sale and Bidding Instructions, Official Bid Form and <br /> <br />Official Statement to prospective bidders for, and purchasers of, the bonds. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this the 10th day of October, 1988, by the City <br /> <br />Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, convened in <br /> <br />regular session with a <br /> <br />la wful quorum present. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />~.~ <br /> <br />Ma yor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />
