<br />27 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1987-26R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DECLARING CERTAIN <br />SURPLUS POLICE UNIFORMS UNSERVICEABLE AND OF <br />NO VALUE TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF SAID POLICE <br />UNIFORMS TO A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION, AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has in its possession certain surplus police <br />uniforms which are no longer serviceable; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of San Marcos declares <br />said uniforms of no value to said City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said uniforms have been stripped of all <br />insignia; and <br /> <br />official <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of said City wishes to donàte said <br />uniforms to a charitable organization; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That certain unserviceable surplus police uniforms <br />are no longer of value to the city of San Marcos. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the City Council of the City of San Marcos <br />authorizes the donation of said police uniforms to a charitable <br />organization. <br /> <br />PART 3.
