Mr. Farr moved for approval <br />of the minutes and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. Mr. Coddington <br />pointed out a correction of the minutes was needed on Page 5 in the <br />fourth paragraph as follows: "... so City Council Members and Staff <br />Members' rights 'n'ot be abridged." On roll call for approval of the <br />minutes the following vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Brown, Coddington, Farr, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> NÞ3: None. <br /> ABSTAIN: Younqer. <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration apDroval of the minutes of <br />the Special Meeting held A1?ril 7, 1986. Mr. Coddington moved for ap- <br />nroval and Hr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on <br />emergency, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ThE CITY OF SAN <br /> J..1Þ"RCO S, TEXAS AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br /> ADOPTEDÞ~APCE 24, 1986 WEICH ORDERED A SPECIAL ELEC- <br /> TION TO BE EELD ON APRIL 19, 1986 IF NO CANDIDATE FOR <br /> CIT~: COUNCIL !1EMBER PLACE ONE ON THE BALLOT FOR THE <br /> GENERAL ELECTION HELD APRIL 5, 1986 RECEIVED A MAJOR- <br /> ITY VOTE AND WHICH ADOPTED CERTAIN OTHER PROVISIONS RE- <br /> LATING THERETO, TO DELETE THE NAME OF THE ALTERNATE <br /> JUDGE FOR PRECINCT NO. 34 AND TO SUBSTITUTE THEREFOR <br /> MILLIE BECHTOL; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />
