<br /> 49 <br /> RESOLUTION 1986-59R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDERS WHICH WILL <br /> NOT RESULT IN AN INCREASE OF THE ORIGINAL <br /> CONTRACT AMOUNT BY MORE THAN $5,000.00 FOR ALL <br /> CONTRACTS WHICH HAVE BEEN COMPETITIVELY BID, <br /> PROVIDING FOR OTHER RESTRICTIONS AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to <br /> execute Change Orders which will not result in an increase of the <br /> original contract amount by more than $5,000.00 aggregate for all <br /> City contracts which have been competitively bid, if provisions <br /> 'have been made to proviae for the payment of such added cost prior <br /> to the issuance of the change order and if, notwithstanaing the <br /> $5,000.00 limitation, no contract is increased by more than 25% of <br /> the original contract price nor aecreased by more than 25% without <br /> the consent of the contractor to the decrease. <br /> PART 2.
