<br /> AN OHDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'IRE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT OFDINANCE 1ii/HICH
<br /> REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS,
<br /> S'IRUCTIJRES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13,1984 (VOL. 66) BY
<br /> CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOTS 2 & 3 OF THE W.N.
<br /> GOFORTH'S FIRST aIRBURBAN ( SIC) ADDITION, SAN MARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS, A 3JBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF SAN ~'lARCOS AS
<br /> ~1-1 OvJN ON THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN VDLUME
<br /> 88, PAGE 80, HAYS COUNTI DEED RECORDS, A/K/A 2107 roST
<br /> ROAD, FROM "M" (SINGLE, DUPLEX, AND NEIGHIDRHOOD
<br /> BUSINESSES DISTRICT) TO "MH" (MOBILE HOME DISTRICT):
<br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> 1ii/HEREAS, on March 4, 1986, the Zoning Commission of the City of
<br />San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the
<br />zoning fran "1"1" (Single, Duplex, and Neighborhood Businesses District)
<br />to "~1H1I (Þ.1obile Home District) of Lots 2 & 3 of the v~.N. Goforth's
<br />First Surburban (sic) Addition to San Marcos, Texas, a subdivision in
<br />said City: and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br />Commission did, on April 1, 1986, consider said request and
<br />voted to approve the same and has recommended that such request be
<br />approved by the City Council of said City: and,
<br /> ~VHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the 9 day
<br />of June ,1986, regarding such request: and,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning
<br />Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos
<br />pertaining to amendments have been met: and,
<br /> WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br />located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is presently zoned "M"
<br />( Single, Duplex, and Neighborhood Blsinesses District) henceforth
<br />shall be rezoned "MHII (Mobile Home District):
<br /> IDTS 2 & 3, OF THE W.N. GOFORTH'S FIRST ffiRRJRBAN (SIC)
<br /> ADDITION TO SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, A ffiBDIVISION IN THE
<br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS AS SHOWN ON THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF
<br /> RECORDED .IN VOWME 88, PAGE 80, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS.
<br /> SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days
<br />from and after its passage and after it has been subject to
<br />reconsidera tion by the Council at its next regular meeting following
<br />its passage, and providing that the Council did not vote to reconsider
<br />it. If reconsidered on June 23, 1986 it shall be in effect ten
<br />days from and after its passage on that date if approved. It shall not
<br />go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered or if reconsidered and
<br />approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in
<br />the area as required by the Charter óf the City of San r-1arcos, Texas.
<br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this the 9 day of June, 1986,
<br />subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting
<br />scheduled for June 23, 1986 .
