<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTiON 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHiCH
<br /> REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS,
<br /> STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY
<br /> CHANGING THE ZONING OF BLOCK 10, LOTS 51 AND OF THE
<br /> WESTOVER ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY,

<br /> DISTIRCn TO "R-l" (SINGLE FAMILY Dt4ELLING; D STRICT);
<br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on April 1, 1986, the Zoning Commission r the City of
<br />San Marcos held a publ ic hearing regarding a request to change the
<br />zoning from "DP-2" <Duplex District) to "R-l" (Single Family
<br />~~ell ing District of Block 10, Lots 51 and 52 of the Westover Addition,
<br />San Marcos, Hays County, Texas; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to said publi hearing on said date, said
<br />Commission did, on June 3, 1986, consider said request and
<br />voted to approve the same and has recommended that such request be
<br />appro\Jed by the Ci ty Council of said Cit;q and,
<br />of WHEREAS, said City Council held a publ ic hearing on the 14 day
<br /> July, 1986, reg~¡' :'...g such request; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zon i n9
<br />Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the Ci ty of San Marcos
<br />pertaining to amendments have been met; and,
<br /> ~~HEREAS, said Ci ty Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN t1ARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the following described trac t of real property
<br />located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, t\lhich is presently zoned
<br />II DP-2" (Dup lex District> henceforth shall be rezoned IIR-l"
<br />(Single Family Dwell ing District):
<br /> BLOCK 10, LOTS 51 AND 52 OF THE WESTOVER ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
<br /> SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS AS SHOl4N ON THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME
<br /> 59, PAGE 184, OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS
<br /> SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days
<br />from and af hr its passage and after it has been subject to
<br />reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting following
<br />its passage, and providing that the Council di~ not vote t9 reconsi~er
<br />it. If reconsidered on July 28, 1986 ,It shall be In effect ~en
<br />days from and after its passage on that date If approved. It shall not
<br />go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered or if rec9nsider~d a~d
<br />approved it shall ~e publ ished~!n a newspaper ~f general clrculatlo~ In
<br />the area as required by the Lnarter of the CIty of San Marcos, Texas.
