<br />24 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1986-107R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONTRACT FOR <br />AN AUDIT, AN ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENT BASED <br />ON SAID AUDIT, AND OTHER ACCOUNTING SERVICES <br />BETWEEN KMG MAIN HURDMAN AND THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID <br />CITY TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, <br />desires to have a regular annual auait performed, an <br />financial statement basea on said audit prepared and <br />additional account~ng services provided to the City; and, <br /> <br />Texas, <br />annua.l <br />other <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />sa~d professional services from KMG Main <br />Texas, a qualified firm of certified public <br />therefore, <br /> <br />desires to ontain <br />Hurdman, of Austin, <br />accountants; now, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the terms and conditions of a contract between <br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, and KMG Main Hurdman for a regular <br />annual audit, an annual financial statement based on said aUdit, <br />and other additional accounting services, a copy of said contract <br />being attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and <br />purposes, are hereoy in al.l things approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the Mayor of said City, J.E. Younger, be, ana <br />he is hereby, authorized to execute said contract and any and al.l <br />other documents and instruments necessary for its implementation <br />or incident thereto. <br /> <br />PART 3.
