<br />33 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1986-140R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH LEON BREEDEN <br />RELATING TO HIS SERVICE AS A TEMPORARY MUNICIPAL COURT <br />JUDGE, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to contract with an attorney who <br />is qualified to provide services to the City as a temporary Municipal <br />Court Judge in the absence of the City's Chief Municipal Court Judge <br />and Assistant Municipal Court Judge; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Leon Breeden is a San Marcos attorney qualified to sit as <br />a temporary Municipal Court Judge; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />CODNCI L OF <br /> <br />THE <br /> <br />CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />r'lARCOS, <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the terms and conditions of a professional <br />services agreement between the City and Leon Breeden, a copy of which <br />is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, are hereby <br />approved in all respects. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, J.E. <br />Younger, is hereby authorized to execute said agreement and any other <br />document necessary to carry out its purpose. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
