RESOLUTION 2013 -199R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS FINDING CERTAIN DICTAPHONE EQUIPMENT <br />ONCE UTILIZED BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT TO BE SURPLUS AND OF NO VALUE; AUTHORIZING <br />THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO DONATE THIS DICTAPHONE <br />EQUIPMENT TO THE CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The City possesses very old Dictaphone equipment no longer used by the City <br />Police Department. <br />2. The City has determined that this Dictaphone equipment is surplus and of no <br />value to the City and the Police Department wishes to donate this Dictaphone equipment to the <br />City of Austin, Texas. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The City Council finds and determines that certain Dictaphone equipment no <br />longer being used by the City Police Department is surplus and of no value to the City of San <br />Marcos. <br />PART 2. The Police Department is authorized to donate this Dictaphone equipment to <br />the City of Austin, Texas. <br />PART 3. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute any necessary <br />documents facilitating the donation of this equipment. <br />PART 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and after its <br />passage. <br />ADOPTED this the 17th day of December, 2013. <br />O el Gue <br />Mayor <br />
