<br /> 18 <br /> RESOLUTION 1985-40R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE <br /> TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A PROPOSED <br /> CONTRACT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND BROWN, <br /> MARONEY, ROSE, BARBER AND DYE, ATTORNEYS <br /> AT LAW~ FOR THE PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL <br /> LEGAL SERVICES TO SAID CITY IN CONNECTION <br /> WITH PROCEEDINGS PENDING BEFORE THE <br /> PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION REGARDING <br /> CRYSTAL CLEAR WATER SUPPLY CORPORATION; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br /> SAID CONTRACT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, <br /> Texas, desires to obtain professional legal services from <br /> Brown, Maroney, Rose, Barber and Dye, Attorneys at Law, in <br /> connec tion with proceedings pending before the Public <br /> Utility Commission; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of a proposed <br /> contract between said City and Brown, Maroney, Rose, Barb er <br /> and Dye, Attorneys at Law, for the provision of <br /> professional legal services in connection with proceedings <br /> pending before the Public Utility Commission regarding <br /> Crystal Clear Water Supply Corporation, a copy of said <br /> contract being attached hereto and incorporated herein for <br /> all purposes, are hereby in all things approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, A.C. Gonzal ez, be, and <br /> he is hereby, authorized to execute said contract on behalf <br /> of said City. <br /> PART 3.
